Finding an affordable keychain that works as well as the expensive type is not easy. The keysmart lite is created from polycarbonate frames which is basically just hard plastic and the screws and bolts are made from good quality stainless steel.  The polycarbonate is strong but won’t last you as long as the aluminium.

The verdict

When I look at these two key holders, the first thing that comes to mind is the design. I got the keysmart extended because it has a nice print, designs and the materials used to create it make it more strong and durable. It won’t break easily and works well to keep my keys compact and stylish.


Does it work well with a car key/remote for bigger cars and trucks?

It works well with most type of keys but a key that thick will mess with the installation. You can attach the key/ remote to the loop piece attached on one side.

Keysmart Lite has a length of 2 inches and 3.18 inches. There is a loop piece that comes with the key holder that makes it strong to hold bulky keys, car keys and key fobs.

It’s possible to have your key engraved. It will however depend on the number of orders. Engraving is however reserved for bulk orders.
